Welcome to my page where I will be sharing with all the things I have been working on.
My name is Marek, I am a traditional restorer with over 25years’ experience. I have enjoyed restoring a wide range of furniture from all different places in Europe. From old churches in Poland to huge Chateau’s in France.

About me

All the work I have done and agree to do always requires a great amount of attention to detail. I understand as an experienced and fully qualified craftsman that each piece of furniture has an amazing amount of history within it and I work my hardest to preserve it and make it look alive again without it losing its original style.

We had a nest of three coffee tables which matched a range of other furniture but which over 25 years had suffered severe marking from tea mugs ,wine spillage and careless grandchildren! They were a mess! I found out about Marek on the internet and within 2 weeks the tables were collected and repaired and returned in excellent condition. Our coffee table is over fifteen years old. Unfortunately over the years it has been chipped, wood missing, scratches and hot drink marks on the table surface. Marek returned it to us today, following some extensive repair work. What a restoration job he has done, it looks like new. We cannot praise him highly enough for the work he has done on our table. We are both very grateful to him.
